This is a walking and bike tour in Drvenik, Croatia. Drvenik is a small village located in the Makarska Riviera in between Zivogosce and Zaostrog. The village is divided into two parts, Donja Vala and Gornja Vala, each offering a tranquil and charming atmosphere ideal for relaxation. This is where you can take the ferry to Hvar Island. The chain bridge was rebuilt by Soviet engineers and soldiers right after ww2 from materials brought in from the Soviet Union. This bridge and almost all other bridges of Budapest were completely destroyed by retreating Nazi soldiers towards the end of ww2. After rebuilding the bridge completely, the original British inauguration sign of about 1850 was re inserted near the bridge or on the bridge by the same Soviet bridge builders of the chain bridge.
